Senior Sonar Systems Scientist
You will work within the Sonar Systems team as a Senior Sonar Systems Scientist to apply your scientific knowledge and skills to maximise operational effectiveness for UK maritime platforms. Your day-to-day work involves collaborating with acoustic analysts, scientists, modellers, and marine architects and engineers on a varied portfolio of scientific engineering activities. You will advance work in acoustic signature analysis, software modelling tools, and underwater acoustics, while supporting analysis through modelling solutions. Your work will involve partnering with other government departments, agencies, industry, and academia to directly impact frontline operations.

Qualifications
- Honours degree or masters in a scientific, numerical or engineering discipline

Selection process
Sifting will take place from 30th October with interviews arranged from 25th November. Interviews will take place virtually via MS Teams.
