Senior Technical Officer - Global Health Security
The UK Health Security Agency is seeking a Senior Technical Officer to join the Global Health Security team within the Global Health Protection Directorate. The post holder will support cross-agency planning, governance, and reporting to strengthen global health security activities and translate international insights into UK readiness. They will work with technical experts, policy colleagues, and international partners to develop high-quality briefings, papers, and evidence-based products. This varied role requires managing programmes and projects, engaging international stakeholders, and driving practical outcomes across organisational boundaries.

Qualifications

Nationality requirements
This job is broadly open to UK nationals, Republic of Ireland nationals, Commonwealth citizens with work rights, EU/EEA/Swiss nationals with EUSS status, and Turkish nationals under the Ankara Agreement.
Selection process
Interviews will be held remotely and will include a technical presentation.
