Summer Internship Programme 2027
This summer internship programme gives talented undergraduates an insight into a career in the Civil Service through an eight-week work placement. Interns undertake challenging project-related work such as conducting research, providing project support, and assisting with policy documents. Participants also shadow senior civil servants, attend meetings on major issues, and work alongside various team members to help improve public services.

Qualifications
- Final 2 years at university with a 2:2 or higher in any degree
Nationality requirements
Open to UK, Irish, Commonwealth, EU/EEA/Swiss, and Turkish nationals with the right to work in the UK.
Selection process
Interviews will take place between December 2026 and February 2027 following online tests.
