Support Technician
This role involves working as part of a colonies team to provide high-quality animal care and environmental enrichment for non-human primates at a scientific campus. Day-to-day duties include performing routine animal husbandry, maintaining clean facilities to Home Office compliance standards, monitoring animal health, and supporting scientific studies and basic post-mortem examinations. You will work closely with colleagues, managers, and veterinary staff while maintaining accurate records and handling specialized caging systems.

- Good general education including a scientific subject at GCSE level
- Educated to NVQ 2 level in an animal care subject or equivalent
- Ability to keep detailed and accurate records
- Willingness to undergo vaccinations and full UK security clearance
- Available to work weekends and bank holidays on a rota
