Woodwork Specialist Production Instructor: HMP Feltham
The job holder will provide supervision, knowledge, and skills to prisoners in a specialist woodwork workshop to improve their employment prospects and reduce reoffending. They will teach prisoners towards nationally recognised qualifications, set work schedules, manage quality standards, and ensure workshop safety and security. Responsibilities also include maintaining discipline, logging attendance, conducting security searches, and completing administrative tasks to support workshop operations. The role involves working closely with prisoners and maintaining regular communication via a radio network.
