Directors General, Department for Energy Security and Net Zero
These three director general roles provide strategic leadership across the Department for Energy Security and Net Zero to help make the UK a clean energy superpower. Postholders connect long-term government priorities to real-world delivery, shape complex energy markets and reform, and put households and consumers at the centre of the energy transition. They work closely with ministers, regulators, industry stakeholders, and large multidisciplinary teams to navigate high-stakes policy and delivery challenges.
