Deputy Director, Small Modular Reactor Programme: Great British Energy Nuclear - Sponsorship and Policy
This Deputy Director role within the nuclear policy team leads the shareholder and sponsorship relationship with Great British Energy – Nuclear. The post-holder provides strategic oversight of governance, performance, finance and risk to support the successful delivery of the UK’s nuclear programme. Working alongside another Deputy Director, they lead a team of policy officials and work closely with ministers, senior officials, and external stakeholders. The role ensures alignment between organisational delivery and government objectives while maintaining robust assurance and value for money.
