Approved Premises Residential Worker - Bedford - Women Only
The job holder works as part of a team providing 24-hour cover at an approved residential premises, ensuring the safety and security of the building and its residents. Daily duties include supervising residents, maintaining discipline, monitoring behaviour, managing risk, and supporting sentence plan objectives. The role involves conducting regular building inspections, administering medication, performing drug and alcohol tests, and handling emergency points of contact out of hours. Staff collaborate closely with offender managers, police, health professionals, and other partner agencies to report significant changes and ensure compliance with court orders.

- Experience working with diverse people with social or personal difficulties
- Ability to evidence high level numeracy and literacy skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 GCSEs at Grade C or above including English and Maths or equivalent
