Assistant Controller - HMP Oakwood
The Assistant Controller supports the Controller and Deputy Controller in monitoring and managing privately managed prison contracts. Day-to-day duties include carrying out assurance and compliance work, reviewing contract changes, and analysing performance data for progress meetings. The role sits within the Prison Contracts Group, working closely with operational teams and prison leadership to maintain contract standards. This position helps ensure that contracted prisons operate safely, legally, and in line with agreed performance requirements.
