Commercial Vehicle Examiner (Enforcement) - London
Commercial Vehicle Examiners inspect commercial vehicles to check they meet safety and roadworthiness standards, helping to keep Britain's roads safe. You will carry out roadside checks, identify vehicle defects, take enforcement action, and provide clear technical advice to drivers and operators. The role also involves analysing data, preparing reports, and presenting evidence in court or at public inquiries when required. You will work closely with colleagues and partner agencies in a public-facing enforcement team.

Qualifications
- Full and current car driving licence
- Vocational qualification in Motor Vehicle Maintenance & Repair at level 3
- IMI ATA registration at diagnostic technician level
- IRTEC registration at advanced technician level

Open to UK, Irish, Commonwealth, EU/EEA, and Turkish nationals with the appropriate right to work.
Selection process
Qualification sift takes place between 13th and 19th October 2026. Interviews will be held in person between 2nd and 13th November 2026.
