Deputy Director Data Modernisation and Deputy Director Data Innovation (2 posts)
You will lead key data modernisation and innovation programmes within the Home Office, working closely with the Chief Data Officer and senior leaders across digital, technology, analysis, and operational functions. Your day-to-day work involves translating strategic priorities into tangible outcomes, improving data-sharing across government, and deploying automation and artificial intelligence at scale to support critical public services like border security and immigration. You will remove barriers to data exploitation, oversee multidisciplinary teams and suppliers, and champion a data-driven culture throughout the department. This is a senior leadership role focused on driving complex data transformation and delivering measurable operational improvements.
