Detention Engagement Officer - Yarl's Wood
Detention engagement officers work directly with residents at an immigration removal centre to help them understand their immigration case progression and official paperwork. Officers build positive professional relationships, monitor welfare needs, and coordinate closely with caseworkers, healthcare staff, and service providers. The role requires communicating sensitively with individuals who may be distressed, maintaining accurate digital records, and following strict security guidelines.
