Director General, Chief Operating Officer
As Chief Operating Officer, you will provide strategic executive leadership for a group of around five hundred staff across corporate functions including commercial, digital, finance, legal, and people and workplace. You will support the Accounting Officer with the management of the full department budget and oversee corporate services to drive civil service reform and organizational transformation. Reporting to the Permanent Secretary, you will serve as principal operations advisor to the executive board, ministers, and senior leaders while navigating complex political and operational risks.
