Director of Communications and Customer
The executive director provides leadership for the Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency communications and customer relations communities, supporting core customer-facing services such as driving tests, MOTs, and vehicle testing legislation enforcement. The post leads the development and delivery of customer relations and communications strategies in collaboration with the executive team to ensure a strong focus on customer insight, reputation, and engagement. As a member of the executive committee, this role has collective responsibility for the strategic direction, performance, and culture of the agency. The role heads a directorate covering customer relations, internal and external communications, stakeholder engagement, and insight while bringing a customer perspective to executive discussions.
