Employment Lawyer
This is a new standalone role to provide expert legal advice and support on all employment law matters within the organisation, advising on compliance with UK employment law and mitigating associated legal risks across the business. The postholder will primarily work with the Human Resources Division, drafting and reviewing employment contracts, handling Employment Tribunal claims, and delivering training. They will also develop and maintain strong working relationships with the Government Legal Department and occasionally advise on wider organizational activities.

- Sound powers of legal analysis and research
- Commercial awareness and ability to balance legal risk
Qualifications
- Qualified to practice law in England & Wales as solicitor or barrister
- A 2.1 degree in law or other subject
- Must hold LPC, BVC or equivalent
Nationality requirements
Open to UK, Irish, Commonwealth, EU and Turkish nationals with the right to work in the UK.
Selection process
Interviews will be held via MS Teams for the technical stage and onsite at 1 Horse Guards Road for the panel interview.
