Group Employer Lead
The Group Employer Lead shapes and delivers employer-led solutions to improve employment outcomes across Scotland and Northern England. Working as a senior leader within the Department for Work and Pensions, the postholder builds strategic partnerships with national and regional employers to support labour market needs. They collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to drive innovation, champion inclusive recruitment practices, and deliver sustainable career progression opportunities for customers.

Selection process
Assessment centre will be a face-to-face session in Newcastle, with sessions expected to begin during week commencing 9 November 2026. Sift and interview dates to be confirmed.
