This role leads and enables the delivery of Natural England's Health Agenda across Sussex and Kent by strengthening the connection between nature, health, and wellbeing. The postholder works across teams and with external partners to develop and deliver innovative projects demonstrating the value of nature-based solutions in improving health outcomes. Responsibilities include building productive relationships with organisations like the NHS and local authorities, managing procurement processes, and providing expertise on urban greening. The specialist works independently to drive project delivery, present evidence to senior managers, and contribute to strategic programmes improving access to nature.
