Well Engineering & Operations Inspector
As a Well Engineering and Operations Inspector for the Health and Safety Executive, you will regulate the offshore oil and gas industry, pipelines, mines, and renewable sectors. You will assess safety cases, inspect well operations, investigate accidents, and provide specialist technical advice to industry stakeholders. You will work within a multi-disciplinary team, conducting site visits, offshore inspections, and preparing expert technical reports.

- A proven track record in managing and contributing to technical projects
- Practical experience of well engineering and drilling operations at a senior level
- Strong risk assessment and risk management tool experience
- Good communication and stakeholder influencing skills
- Ability to write effective technical reports for non-technical audiences
Qualifications
- Degree in a relevant engineering or earth science discipline
- Full UK driving licence
- Chartered status with the Engineering Council or ability to work towards it

Selection process
