HMPPS Hindu Faith/Belief Advisor Part Time 0.2 FTE (7 Hours 36 Minutes).
This role serves as a senior representative for the Hindu faith and belief system, providing expert advice to prisons and probation services on faith matters, rehabilitation, and offender resettlement. The post holder will line manage chaplains, support their professional development, and collaborate with leadership to recruit and retain chaplains from their tradition. Working closely with HM Prison and Probation Service Chaplaincy and Faith Services, the advisor helps ensure that the religious needs of staff and those in custody are properly met.
