Impact Manager - IS8 Life sciences
The Impact Manager leads the design, coordination, and delivery of monitoring and evaluation activities for the IS-8 life sciences portfolio within the Medical Research Council. Working between the Evaluation and Analysis Team and the IS-8 team, the postholder tracks investment benefits, develops impact frameworks, and produces strategic reports to inform senior decision-makers. They collaborate closely with colleagues and external partners to gather evidence, share best practice, and demonstrate the value of research funding.

- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Understanding of the UK research funding ecosystem
- Ability to present evidence to support senior decision makers
