Industrial Cleaning - Vocational Instructor (VI): HMP Brinsford
The job holder will instruct and train prisoners in industrial cleaning and related vocational skills, helping them gain industry-recognised qualifications and build effective relationships. They will manage workshop security, maintain order, and ensure health and safety standards are met while supporting sentence planning and reducing reoffending. The role involves supervising learner progress, conducting risk assessments, and completing administrative tasks to support the smooth running of the workshop. The successful candidate will work closely with prisoners, education staff, and colleagues within the prison to promote a safe and decent environment.
