Lead Developer (Java)
As a Lead Developer in HM Revenue and Customs, you will set technical direction and ensure the delivery of high-quality, scalable, and secure services. You will guide and support an engineering team across the full service lifecycle, translating business and user needs into coherent technical designs while remaining hands-on to validate implementations. Working closely with business analysts, testers, and product owners, you will oversee the creation of clean, secure code and drive technical decision-making for complex large-scale services.

- Strong Java engineering background including Spring Kubernetes and Docker
- Expertise in cloud native microservice architecture and AWS technologies
- Proven ability to lead developers and communicate technical decisions
