Officer Development Programme (ODP) for Trainee Investigator, Intelligence Officer and Intelligence Analyst
Trainees join a two-year development programme to become accredited National Crime Agency investigators, intelligence officers, or intelligence analysts. Participants support the agency in fighting serious and organised crime, protecting the public, and developing specialist investigative capabilities. Successful completion requires passing foundation exams and achieving professional accreditation to work on national security operations. Trainees collaborate with internal teams, law enforcement partners, and government agencies across various operational pathways.

Qualifications
- GCSE English and Mathematics achieving a minimum Grade 5/C or equivalent

Nationality requirements
This job is broadly open to UK nationals, Republic of Ireland nationals, Commonwealth citizens with right to work, EU/EEA/Swiss/Icelandic/Liechtenstein nationals with settled or pre-settled EUSS status, and qualifying Turkish nationals.
Selection process
Successful candidates at sift will be invited to a virtual interview, followed by an in-person assessment centre consisting of aptitude tests and a role-play.
