Prison Catering: Caterer - HMP Onley
You will work in a professional industrial kitchen environment preparing and cooking quality, nutritional meals for the entire prison. You will oversee the work of offenders, helping them learn new skills and gain qualifications to increase employment chances upon release. You will work within a prison catering team and interact regularly with offenders and colleagues. The role is designed to put catering skills into practice while supporting prisoner rehabilitation and reducing reoffending.

- Familiar with kitchen health, safety and hygiene regulations
- Competent within an industrial kitchen environment
- Able to speak with confidence in English
Qualifications
- Level 2 certificate in Food Production within Hospitality and Catering or equivalent
- Food Hygiene Certificate Level 2
- Vocational Qualification at Level 3 or willingness to work towards it
