Prison Catering: Caterer - HMP Swaleside
You will work in a professional industrial kitchen environment preparing and cooking quality meals for prisoners while overseeing the work of offenders. You will support prisoners to learn new skills and gain qualifications to increase their employment chances and reduce reoffending. You will work alongside the prison catering team and collaborate with other prison staff to maintain a secure and productive environment. This role helps rehabilitate individuals while delivering essential catering services across the prison.
What they're looking for
- Familiar with kitchen health, safety and hygiene regulations
- Able to demonstrate competency within an industrial kitchen
- Able to speak with confidence in English
Qualifications
- Level 2 certificate in Food Production within Hospitality and Catering
- Food Hygiene Certificate Level 2
