Prison Catering: Caterer/Kitchen Supervisor (Hospitality and Catering) - HMP Leyhill
You will work in a professional industrial kitchen environment overseeing the work of offenders to prepare and cook quality, nutritional meals for the entire prison. You will play a part in helping them turn their lives around by supporting them to learn new skills and gain qualifications to increase employment chances upon release. You will work a 37-hour week on shift patterns that include hours outside standard times, weekends, and public holidays.
What they're looking for
- Familiar with kitchen health, safety and hygiene regulations
- Able to demonstrate competency within an industrial kitchen
- Able to demonstrate team leadership experience
- Able to speak with confidence in English
Qualifications
- Level 2 certificate in Food Production within Hospitality and Catering or equivalent
- Food Hygiene Certificate Level 3 (intermediate level)
- Working towards Level 3 vocational qualification or City and Guilds 7061/7062 or NVQ Level 3

Open to UK, Irish, Commonwealth, EU and Turkish nationals with appropriate rights to work or EUSS status.
