This role involves leading a team within the Department for Work and Pensions to identify root causes of fraud and error in the benefits system. You will work closely with multidisciplinary specialists, risk owners, and stakeholders to analyze data, test control performance, and design solutions. Day to day, you will guide your team, build stakeholder partnerships, and implement measures to ensure the department pays the right amount to the right person at the right time. You will also represent the service at forums and drive continuous improvement across multiple work programmes.

This job is broadly open to UK nationals, Commonwealth citizens, nationals of the Republic of Ireland, EU/Swiss nationals with settled status, and Turkish nationals.
