Scientific Database Analyst
This role coordinates and develops the collection and analysis of health surveillance data to monitor trends, geographic distribution, and risk factors related to antimicrobial resistance and healthcare-associated infections. The postholder extracts and validates datasets, carries out epidemiological analyses, and contributes to policy reports and peer-reviewed scientific publications. They work closely with senior scientific staff, internal health teams, and external bodies such as the National Health Service and the Department of Health and Social Care. Additionally, the role involves managing project information systems, supporting training activities, and occasionally contributing to public health incident responses.

Qualifications

Selection process
