Scientist - Climate Change
This role involves conducting a varied mixture of desk, laboratory, and field work to support climate change research in forest environments. The post-holder will set up, maintain, and run meteorological and greenhouse gas flux instrumentation, conduct hydrological and soil-based assessments, and manage site health and safety. Additionally, they will analyze complex data sets, write internal reports and scientific articles, and communicate findings to diverse audiences. Working collaboratively with colleagues, partners, and local forest staff, the successful candidate will help improve understanding of forest functions and greenhouse gas dynamics.

Qualifications
- Degree in a relevant science or environmental discipline
- Full current driving licence for the UK
Nationality requirements
Open to UK, Republic of Ireland, Commonwealth, EU/EEA/Swiss (with EUSS status), and Turkish nationals with the right to work.
