SDA Future Software Capabilities Manager
This role involves leading the development, assurance, and integration of next-generation operational software for the UK's nuclear submarines within the Submarine Delivery Agency. You will collaborate with senior engineers, the Atomic Weapons Establishment, and international partners to provide technical leadership across the software lifecycle, from requirements to operational deployment. Working in an underground facility at MOD Corsham, you will manage software roadmaps, mitigate technical debt, and ensure robust engineering standards are maintained. The position requires adherence to strict security protocols and the physical ability to climb thirteen flights of stairs in an emergency.

- Chartered or Incorporated Engineer professional registration
- Member of a relevant Professional Engineering or Science body
- Experience providing technical advice and leading engineering outcomes
- Broad technical experience with understanding of system interdependencies
Qualifications
- Chartered or Incorporated Engineer or equivalent relevant professional registration
- Member of a relevant Professional Engineering / Science Institute or equivalent body
- Relevant Level 4 (or higher) qualification or equivalent experience
