Smart Data Analyst
The Smart Data Analyst supports the delivery of the UK's Smart Data Strategy by designing, managing, and delivering research projects that advance the evidence base for consumer and competition policy. Day to day, the analyst collaborates with policy teams and cross-government departments to provide insightful analysis that informs all stages of policy development from problem identification to evaluation. The role sits within an analysis team dedicated to ensuring policy decisions are backed by robust economic and social research.

Qualifications
- Membership of Government Economic Service or Government Social Research
- First or upper second-class honours or postgraduate degree in economics
- Undergraduate degree with substantial social research methods training
Nationality requirements
This job is broadly open to UK nationals, Republic of Ireland nationals, Commonwealth citizens with work rights, EU/EEA/Swiss/Liechtenstein/Norway nationals with EUSS status, and qualifying Turkish nationals.
