Social Housing Lettings - Data Collection and Analysis Role
You will work in the Social Housing Statistics team at the Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government, producing data and analysis that inform policies on social housing, affordable housing, and housing delivery across England. Your day involves collecting, assuring, analysing, and publishing data on social housing lettings and sales while collaborating with local authorities, housing associations, and policy colleagues. You will support the full statistical production cycle, validate data quality, and produce bespoke analysis to answer important questions about tenancies and property sales. This role offers an opportunity to develop your analytical skills within a supportive community working on high-profile housing priorities.

Qualifications
- Degree in economics or Master's degree in economics for GES
- 2:1 degree in a numerate subject for GORS
- Undergraduate degree at 2:1 or 2:2 with a postgraduate degree in a social science
- First or second class honours degree in a numerate subject with 25% statistics

Selection process
Sifting is envisaged to take place the week commencing 05/10, with interviews the week commencing 19/10 held remotely via videocall.
