Social Housing Lettings - Data Collection and Analysis Role (Unbadged GSS)
You will work in the Social Housing Statistics team to collect, assure, analyse, and publish official data on social housing lettings and sales across England. Day to day, you will build relationships with local authorities and housing associations, validate data, and produce statistical releases and bespoke analyses to support housing policy decisions. You will collaborate with policy colleagues and other analysts in a supportive community focused on improving understanding of the housing sector. This role offers an opportunity to gain experience across the full statistical production cycle while helping shape government housing priorities.

Qualifications
- First or second class honours degree in a numerate subject with 25% statistical content
- Higher degree in a subject containing formal statistical training
- CPD logbook in statistics or data science at level 5
- Level 4 apprenticeship with two years in a government statistical role
Nationality requirements
Open to UK, Republic of Ireland, Commonwealth, EU/EEA/Swiss (with EUSS status), and Turkish nationals.
Selection process
Complete the GSS test by 11 October 2026 and application by 14 October 2026. Interviews are held remotely via videocall the week commencing 2 November 2026.
