Victim Liaison Officer - Yorkshire and The Humber Probation Service - Public Protection - Doncaster
The Victim Liaison Officer works directly with victims of serious crimes and their families who participate in the Probation Service Victim Contact Scheme or Victim Notification Scheme. Day to day, the post holder assesses and manages risk, provides information on significant sentence developments, and helps victims make representations for parole or risk management decisions. They collaborate closely with criminal justice agencies, prisons, courts, and other partner organisations to safeguard victims and prevent reoffending. The role also involves maintaining accurate records, supporting new staff, and regularly travelling to meet victims and professionals across various locations.

Qualifications
