Community Payback Supervisor - Southend
This role involves directly supervising work groups of offenders serving community sentences, driving service vehicles to transport people and equipment, and ensuring tasks are carried out safely and effectively. Post holders work alongside people on probation to demonstrate good practice, build practical skills, and complete unpaid work projects such as clearing overgrowth and maintaining community facilities. The position is based within the Probation Service, working closely with service users in a hands-on, active environment to support rehabilitation and improve local communities.
