HMP Bedford - Learning and Capability Manager
This role involves managing learning, development, and onboarding processes for new and existing prison staff within an establishment. You will work closely with senior management, the people hub, and new recruits to establish coaching, mentoring, and buddying schemes that support staff retention. Day-to-day responsibilities include coordinating inductions, analysing development needs, planning training, and providing ongoing guidance to help new employees settle in. Additionally, you will handle line management duties, including performance development, appraisals, and absence management for your team.
