Probation Services Officer - Yorkshire and the Humber Probation Service - York
Probation Services Officers help keep the public safe and give people the chance to turn their lives around by managing a caseload of medium and lower risk individuals before and after sentence. Day to day, you will carry out risk assessments, implement sentences, manage offender cases, and produce clear reports for courts and justice agencies while providing practical support and guidance. You will work within a supportive team across various settings such as offices, courts, prisons, and community projects to help offenders overcome personal and social difficulties.
