Quantity Surveyor - North Operations
As a Quantity Surveyor in the Defence Housing Service, you will lead cost management activities across a diverse portfolio of accommodation and infrastructure projects. You will provide expert commercial advice, manage project budgets and forecasts, and act as an intelligent client interface with industry partners to secure value for money. Day to day, you will evaluate contractor proposals, resolve contract disputes, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to modernise homes for Service personnel and their families. Working within the Ministry of Defence, you will help ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.

- Degree-qualified in Quantity Surveying or related discipline
- Experience in contract and supplier management
- Ability to manage complex or multi-site projects
- Experience working with framework contracts
- Good computer skills with a strong command of Excel
Qualifications
- Degree-qualified in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management or related
- Full UK driving licence
- A relevant building qualification
