Research Worker
You will work outdoors as part of a small team carrying out environmental, plant health, and forestry surveys. The role involves establishing, maintaining, and assessing field experiments, collecting samples, and managing contractors. You will collaborate closely with scientific colleagues and external partners across a wide geographical area. The position requires regular travel, occasional overnight stays, and maintaining high standards of health and safety.

- Experience in forest and woodland management
- Experience working safely during forestry operations
- Competent IT user with Microsoft Office experience
- Strong communication, planning, and problem-solving skills
Qualifications
- Literacy Level 2 qualification or equivalent experience
- Numeracy Level 2 qualification or equivalent experience
Nationality requirements
Open to UK, Republic of Ireland, Commonwealth, EU/EEA/Swiss nationals with settled status, and Turkish workers under the Ankara Agreement.
