Safeguarding Advisor
As a Safeguarding Advisor, you will play a vital operational role within the UK Parliament’s Safeguarding Team, helping protect children and adults at risk across the House of Commons, House of Lords and Joint Departments. You will receive and manage safeguarding referrals, maintain accurate case records, and liaise with statutory partners including the Police and Local Authority Designated Officers. You will also support safeguarding training, provide guidance to staff, and take ownership of projects that improve safeguarding across Parliament.

- Experience of handling casework, referrals and strong administrative skills
- Experience of liaising with external agencies or statutory partners
- Experience of taking ownership of a discrete piece of work
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to exercise sound judgement in assessing and responding to concerns
Qualifications
- Level 3 Safeguarding Qualification (or equivalent)
- Relevant professional qualifications in safeguarding or a closely related field
