Specialist Advisor - Medicines (Pharmacists and Pharmacy Technicians)
This specialist advisor role involves providing expert clinical advice on medicines to support the Care Quality Commission in regulating health and social care services. Working alongside inspection teams, postholders review evidence, contribute to assessment reports, and help drive improvements in medicines optimisation. The position is undertaken on an ad hoc, flexible basis alongside current clinical practice, requiring strong communication and up-to-date knowledge of clinical guidance.

- Substantively employed as a Pharmacist or Pharmacy Technician
- Current valid GPhC registration
- Active in current clinical practice
- Strong understanding of the health and/or social care sector
- Skilled communicator able to engage at all levels
