Trainee Legal Adviser - Midlands
Trainee legal advisers work within HM Courts and Tribunals Service to support the smooth running of the justice system by providing magistrates with impartial advice on points of law, practice and procedure. Day to day, you will help formulate and draft judgment reasons, conduct case management hearings, and liaise with outside agencies involved in specialist court work. You will receive structured mentoring and training over a two-year period to develop the skills needed to act as the professional face of the court. The role involves working in a fast-paced environment across criminal courts, handling cases ranging from minor motoring offences to serious crimes.

Qualifications
- Academic stage of qualification as a solicitor or barrister
- Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives (CILEX) or CILEX Lawyer
Nationality requirements
Open to UK, Irish, Commonwealth, EU/EEA/Swiss (with EUSS status) and Turkish nationals with the right to work.
