Trainee Legal Adviser
Trainee legal advisers work within HM Courts and Tribunals Service to support the fair and efficient administration of justice in criminal, civil, and family courts. Day to day, you develop the skills to provide magistrates with impartial advice on points of law, practice, and procedure, assist with drafting judgment reasons, and help conduct case management hearings. You work in a fast-moving, court-based environment alongside magistrates, judicial colleagues, and outside agencies while receiving structured mentoring and training. This frontline role requires you to act as the professional face of the court with integrity, empathy, and respect for all attendees.

Qualifications
- Passed academic stage of qualification to become a solicitor or Barrister
- Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives (CILEX) or CILEX Lawyer
