Unpaid Work Operations Manager - Yorkshire and the Humber Probation Service - Sheffield
This role involves managing the strategic direction and daily operations of Unpaid Work services for the Probation Service. You will lead a mobile and dispersed team, working with local partners and stakeholders to develop diverse, purposeful work placements for people on probation. The goal is to ensure efficient service delivery, contractual compliance, and positive outcomes that benefit local communities while supporting efforts to reduce reoffending. Occasional out-of-hours working is required as part of an on-call duty rota to support lone-working staff.

- Understanding of the Probation Service and criminal justice
- Experience in risk management and multi-agency procedures
- Knowledge of health and safety legislation and policies
- Well-developed IT skills and report interpretation ability
Qualifications
- Level 3 Institution of Occupational Safety and Health or equivalent
- D1 Category Driving Licence
