Work Placement Valuation Surveyor
This work placement role gives you hands-on experience in property valuation, supporting the collection of revenue for public services. You will inspect commercial and residential properties, manage your own caseload, and prepare valuation reports under the guidance of experienced surveyors. You will work closely with colleagues, customers, and agents to discuss cases, assess market trends, and make informed professional decisions. The position provides practical evidence to help you progress towards Chartered Surveyor status.

- Currently studying a RICS accredited valuation or commercial degree with a placement year
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Strong analytical skills with sound judgement for decision making
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
- Good organisational and time management skills

- Currently studying a RICS accredited valuation or commercial undergraduate degree
Nationality requirements
Open to UK, Irish, Commonwealth, EU and Turkish nationals with the right to work in the UK.
Selection process
Sift takes place between 9th October and 3rd November 2026. Interviews are held between 25th and 27th November 2026 via Microsoft Teams video format.
